The Problem
This brand-new pet grooming shop desperately needed a brand designed before their grand opening. The owner wanted a strong brand and logo to create a memorable experience for his customers, one that would capture the target audience. The brand must represent a fun, playful environment that pet owners would be comfortable bringing their pets into. The goal was to use design to accelerate performance in person and online and attract an entire customer-base from nothing.
The location of the brand-new shop would be opening in a busy area of Downtown Toronto, on Queen Street West. The new brand identity must support the mood and tone of voice used throughout all channels including stationary print, social media, and website while creating a personality in the store.
The Process
The process started with an initial discovery session with the owners. By asking them what they see for their brand, its future, and the keywords used to describe its personality, an excellent perspective on the brand's direction, was gained. From this meeting, the foundation of the brand was created.
A focal point of the new business was a fun and cheerful pet grooming spa, with playful and lighthearted brand assets. It would be essential to produce a pleasant experience for clients seeking quality grooming services, and a fun, trustworthy environment to bring their pets.
Interior messaging would be a focal point of the stores' decoration, and strategizing the correct brand tone-of-voice was among the list of tasks which must be completed. The final slogan that was selected, "Where every pet is special" emphasizes how the groomers treat your pet.
The Solution
After presenting the new brand identity system, the owners were ecstatic. The direction of the brand was approved, and it was now time to implement it. As a brand-new shop, they required a number of services, including stationary print design for business cards, flyers, menus, storefront signage, and more. They also required high-quality photography and photo editing, which would then be implemented into digital marketing campaigns. The digital marketing efforts included Google MyBusiness profile optimization, social media marketing, and website development.
Rich social media content was vital to the campaign for Queen West Pet Grooming. Before our partnership, the business had zero digital presence, so the social channels needed a fresh and fun solution. By providing cute and playful social content, the goal was to capture local, organic traffic and clientele. In addition, creating quality engagements and impressions for the company was necessary for growth. As a result of these efforts, followers and engagements gained excellent traction, and clients were captured organically.
Quality print material is an important aspect of building a business. Therefore, stationary print such as business cards, letterheads, and other materials must be designed and sourced time-effectively and with quality in mind. The company hands out flyers and business cards to the heavy foot traffic in the surrounding area, consequently building great brand exposure. These little details in quality print leave a lasting impression.
Professionally captured beautiful photos of the storefront, interior, and services were next. These stunning images are edited and polished, to enhance the Google MyBusiness profile, social media, and website. It is vital to use high-quality images for these channels for the user impression. Overall, our team curated a bold user experience. Consequently, the company has seen great results in gaining revenue from our partnership.
